Howdy and Welcome:

Round Up Cowboy Church is deeply connected to the “Western Heritage Culture” community.

We worship the One True God. We love serving Him and Gatherin’ with His people in a down-home, western way! We worship and fellowship together in some good-ole hand-clappin’, toe tappin’ music, a message, and all kinds of “cowboy” events. We’re a family church, planning our events with The Family in mind and something engaging for everyone.

We encourage you to come and be a part of

A CHURCH FOR PEOPLE WHO DON’T LIKE CHURCH.

A place that is based on building a relationship with the Lord through contact with our community. We plan to do bigger and better things for the Kingdom of God in 2021 and beyond, so come and be part of RUCC.

If we can pray for you, your situation or your family please let us know. We hope you will join us in praying for each other, our church including new and future members, our community and country. Y’all come be a part!

Come and meet our Preacher and leaders; they are just ordinary folks who love God and try to serve Him the best they can!

How RUCC Got It’s Start:

The Round Up Cowboy Church began in Blue Ridge, Tx in July 2011. After approx. two years at this site the leadership team and congregation began the search for another better suited site with enough acreage to build an arena for their rodeo events. Then, in August 2013 God led the growing congregation to a great location just down the road on State Highway 78, just south of Blue Ridge, Tx.  It was a worn-out hay barn on twenty-one acres in Farmersville, Tx -– that suited folks well.

The leadership and congregation of RUCC began cleaning and remodeling the old worn-out hay barn and made it into an awesome place of worship. Their have been many lives changed in the “old worn out haybarn” and God continues to bless his work within the RUCC barn as we try and reach the lost in our community.

After the church was completed work began on the arena and it was completed in early 2017 and it was ready for use. In the summer 2018 we held our first summer “buckle-series” playdays with several attending and completing the events necessary to win the “prized buckle”.

Pastor Rick Emmert said “God has blessed RUCC in ways we could never have imagined, and in extraordinary ways, blessings beyond measure.” Since moving to the new location on State Highway 78, the RUCC team and it’s congregation are in hopes of adding to their facilities to better facilitate the growth that has come to the area and our church.

If you are looking for an Spirit filled, horse kick’n place to worship, come and check out the friendliest, most accepting congregation around. “Our visitors enter as guests and leave as family.”

What is a

Cowboy Church?

Cowboy Churches are friendly down to earth churches where you can come as you are and are accepted by all.

A cowboy church is traditionally set in a western or farming community culture. Cowboy churches have their own Rodeo Arena and Gospel Band. Sermons are traditionally shorter and simpler with plenty of emphasis on ministry through gospel music.

We follow the teachings of the Nazarene Church

but welcome all denominations to worship with us.

Members can dress how they are comfortable, whether it is blue jeans and cowboy boots or more dressed up if you prefer, we don't judge.

We're just glad to have you here!
